UCAGenomiX - IRCAN platform (Nice)

The IRCAN platform (Nice) was created in 2012 by Gaël Cristofari. The platform has benefited from the expertise of several teams in the genomics and bioinformatics, and has developed close relationship with the Hospital (CHU-Nice). Recent achievements were mostly focused on resequencing and epigenomics projects. The IRCAN platform is also shared between wetlab and bioinformatics:

  • Gaël Cristofari, INSERM

  • Christian Baudoin, IEHC INSERM, head of wetlab
  • Claude Philippe, IE1 CNRS, protocol development

Bioinformatics / Biostatistics:
  • Olivier Croce, IR2 CNRS, head of bioinformatics
  • Florent Tessier, IE Canceropôle

  • Pre-sequencing: Nanodrop™, Bioanalyzer, Qubit®, Bioruptor, Diagenode IP-star, NeoPrep
  • Single Molecule Analysis: droplet digital PCR (BioRad)
  • Sequencing: Illumina NextSeq 500, Ion Torrent PGM
  • Informatics: Calculation server: Dell PowerEdge R910, 64 threads, 1 To RAM, Storage server: Dell PowerEdge R720xd, 16 threads, 16 Go RAM, Storage bays: Dell PowerVault 1200, 80 To RAID6 (10 Gb/s connexion to servers)
